Yuki was an amazing guide and companion on our tour. He's fun to talk to and we had such a great evening. We even came back to the same area on the next day to do more exploring. I would highly recommend this tour and recommend Yuki as a guide for anyone interested in the Kyoto night life and looking to explore unique local experiences.

Absolute highlight of our trip. Yuki was absolutely amazing. Knowledgeable, witty, and willing to go along with my endless stream of questions and commentary. You can't go wrong with Yuki as your guide, he's the best. 

Yuki was a great guide and taught us many things regarding the Japanese cuisine and culture. We even got lucky and saw a maiko.

We had lots of fun and had great food as well. Highly recommend! 

Yuki was super nice and took us to a few bars around Gion. He walked us through all the menus and my friends and I even revisited some of the bars the next day. The tour was really helpful in a Gion nightlife intro since we had no idea where to visit on our own. Thanks Yuki! :)

It was a relaxing, peaceful and nice way to explore the city, the bike ride around the city is very easy as it is all mostly flat roads.  Yuki and Ken was very engaging and friendly throughtout the tour  with guests.

What a great way to end our trip to Japan! Yuki took us to 3 places we would of never gone to on our own! He explained food, customs and traditions! Along with answering all our questions and recommending other places to shop, eat and visit! It was an enjoyable tour, not be missed on your stay in Kyoto!! Make sure you start the tour on an empty stomach!!! You get plenty of food and drink!!! Mahalo Yuki!!!

A fun evening with Yuki in the buzzing Gion area of Kyoto. We enjoyed the very different bars and eating places and Yuki was a great host and gave us some insights into Japanese culture. One of the highlights of our Rugby World Cup trip.

We were assigned to Yuki, a local Japanese student who is proficient in English, friendly and professional throughout the tour.

Instructions were simple for the meet-up point. Yuki brought us to three separate restaurants/ bars within the alleys of Kyoto. He had a handful of restaurants for us to pick from depending on whether you want to eat more, drink more or considering both. However, I would like to add that the food was adequate as this tour is considered to be a "bar hop" therefore you would expect light-bites rather than a proper restaurant meal, this is not what you're after. I'd say that you can find the alleys fairly easily by yourself but I consider this as a fresh experience (at least for us) to meet other travelers such as yourselves. We definitely had a blast from this and made some new friends along the night.

I would definitely recommend this tour as part of your agenda while you're visiting Kyoto.

You can learn a lot about Sake and taste 22! different Sake. 

Great tour with Yuki. We went to several places and tried some delicious Japanese dishes, and sake. Also saw 3 geisha going about their work, which was a bonus. Yuki was terrific and answered lots of questions, and was very friendly and helpful.

Great fun to wander around gion with Yuki and our family and another tourist. Informative, lively and fun. Great to learn about his life as well as facts about Kyoto. Food was decent. Tempura was great. 

Our third tour with Magical Trip and this one was a good as the others! Yuki  is a fantastic guide through the streets of Kyoto and answering our questions about the city. Yoko is a fun guide who was able to make us feel like we've have known her for a long time. Sincere and genuine. My wife and I had such a fun evening out in Kyoto. Looking forward for the next trip!

The Kyoto Night Foodie Tour with Yuki was fantastic and I highly recommend it. Going out at night in Kyoto can be a little challenging by yourself if you don't speak the language, especially compared to Tokyo and Osaka, which makes this tour even more valuable. Yuki was a great guide and we had a lot of fun!

Had a fantastic time with Yuki and the rest of the group! Yuki was a great guide and we had a wonderful time chatting as we ate and drank the evening away. Definetly a great way to enjoy Kyoto if it is your first time in the city.

Go ahead and book this trip directly with the seller.  Suzie and Yuki make for wonderful companions on three food/drink tastings in Kyoto.  The green matcha beer is just ok, but don't miss the matcha-flavored sake.  It's a great way to spend an evening in Kyoto. 

Nice dinner tour with Yuki & Nanako as our guides. It was me and my girlfriend and three nice people from Great Britain. Good food and nice conversation. Both guides were fluent in english and it was nice to hear to be able to ask questions about Japanese culture and traditions. The night ended with Karaoke.

Yuki made this a memorable tour, it was great to hear about his life and experiences as he showed us around Kyoto at night . We enjoyed the food but did feel like we were on a tourist experience, not a local one

Our guide Yuki was amazing. Yuki took us for a walk down the street where Geishas live. Unfortunately we didn’t see any. 
Yuki explained some of the Japanese and Kyoto culture, we talked about his home life and his time in Australia on a backpacking work holiday. Yuki gave us some tips on things to see and do in Kyoto and Osaka. For the tour we visited 3 food places, Tempura, home style cooking and sake bar as part of the tour. At the end of the tour we kicked on for one more bar - a whisky bar where we enjoyed a tasting flight and more great conversation. Thanks Yuki for a wonderful experience, it is the highlight of our trip so far. 

Yuki was excellent, great company and really thoughtful. Also, the venues we went to were fab! As a solo tourist this was a great way to get some yum food and meet others. Thanks Yuki

We had good drinks and foods on different places! 

We also has nice discussion about the way that japoness people life and the difference between japoness and europeans way of life.

I strongly recommend to have a tour with him!

Yuki was an amazing guide. We had an issue that arose during our trip but Yuki  took care of it. On a side note, he had an exam the next morning but stayed with us the whole night. You could not ask for a better person to show you the town.

Yuki was an amazing guide and great conversationalist! We all had so much fun sharing stories and laughing and the food was awesome! I definitely recommend getting the matcha sake from the 2nd stop. Would definitely recommend this tour for anyone who's looking for a nice and fun night in Kyoto, especially those who might be traveling solo, looking for some possible new friends :)

We had a great night walking through Gion with Yuki! He was very helpful and friendly! He helped us choose yummy Japanese snacks and drinks that we wouldn’t have tried had we not been wit him. We were able to see a Geiko travel between restaurants and learn about Japanese culture. I would highly recommend this tour to start your trip in Kyoto!
