This was a very interesting and enjoyable visit.  We loved  all the detail about sumo wrestling and the live demonstrations were great fun.  The two wrestlers made it fascinating and being so close up to them gave a great impression a real match.  Our hosts were so nice and efficient.  Well done. We will recommend you to others.

Yuki was an amazing guide and companion on our tour. He's fun to talk to and we had such a great evening. We even came back to the same area on the next day to do more exploring. Absolute highlight of our trip. Yuki was absolutely amazing. Knowledgeable, witty, and willing to go along with my endless stream of questions and commentary. You can't go wrong with Yuki as your guide, he's the best. 

Yuki was a great guide and taught us many things regarding the Japanese cuisine and culture. We even got lucky and saw a maiko.

We had lots of fun and had great food as well. Highly recommend! 

Yuki was super nice and took us to a few bars around Gion. He walked us through all the menus and my friends and I even revisited some of the bars the next day. The tour was really helpful in a Gion nightlife intro since we had no idea where to visit on our own. Thanks Yuki! :)

It was a relaxing, peaceful and nice way to explore the city, the bike ride around the city is very easy as it is all mostly flat roads.  Yuki and Ken was very engaging and friendly throughtout the tour  with guests.

What a great way to end our trip to Japan! Yuki took us to 3 places we would of never gone to on our own! He explained food, customs and traditions! Along with answering all our questions and recommending other places to shop, eat and visit! It was an enjoyable tour, not be missed on your stay in Kyoto!! Make sure you start the tour on an empty stomach!!! You get plenty of food and drink!!! Mahalo Yuki!!!

A fun evening with Yuki in the buzzing Gion area of Kyoto. We enjoyed the very different bars and eating places and Yuki was a great host and gave us some insights into Japanese culture. One of the highlights of our Rugby World Cup trip.

We were assigned to Yuki, a local Japanese student who is proficient in English, friendly and professional throughout the tour.

Instructions were simple for the meet-up point. Yuki brought us to three separate restaurants/ bars within the alleys of Kyoto. He had a handful of restaurants for us to pick from depending on whether you want to eat more, drink more or considering both. However, I would like to add that the food was adequate as this tour is considered to be a "bar hop" therefore you would expect light-bites rather than a proper restaurant meal, this is not what you're after. I'd say that you can find the alleys fairly easily by yourself but I consider this as a fresh experience (at least for us) to meet other travelers such as yourselves. We definitely had a blast from this and made some new friends along the night.

I would definitely recommend this tour as part of your agenda while you're visiting Kyoto.

You can learn a lot about Sake and taste 22! different Sake. 

Great tour with Yuki. We went to several places and tried some delicious Japanese dishes, and sake. Also saw 3 geisha going about their work, which was a bonus. Yuki was terrific and answered lots of questions, and was very friendly and helpful.

Great fun to wander around gion with Yuki and our family and another tourist. Informative, lively and fun. Great to learn about his life as well as facts about Kyoto. Food was decent. Tempura was great. 

Our third tour with Magical Trip and this one was a good as the others! Yuki  is a fantastic guide through the streets of Kyoto and answering our questions about the city. Yoko is a fun guide who was able to make us feel like we've have known her for a long time. Sincere and genuine. My wife and I had such a fun evening out in Kyoto. Looking forward for the next trip!

The Kyoto Night Foodie Tour with Yuki was fantastic and I highly recommend it. Going out at night in Kyoto can be a little challenging by yourself if you don't speak the language, especially compared to Tokyo and Osaka, which makes this tour even more valuable. Yuki was a great guide and we had a lot of fun!

Had a fantastic time with Yuki and the rest of the group! Yuki was a great guide and we had a wonderful time chatting as we ate and drank the evening away. Definetly a great way to enjoy Kyoto if it is your first time in the city.

Go ahead and book this trip directly with the seller.  Suzie and Yuki make for wonderful companions on three food/drink tastings in Kyoto.  The green matcha beer is just ok, but don't miss the matcha-flavored sake.  It's a great way to spend an evening in Kyoto.
