Shinjuku is one of Tokyo's main commercial and dining areas, a place where a variety of eateries are concentrated.

For me, having been born and raised in Tokyo, Shinjuku has long been a familiar neighborhood. However, for first-time foreign visitors, its scale and the abundance of choices can be overwhelming.

There are hundreds of restaurants around Shinjuku Station, and deciding where to eat is not easy. From traditional Japanese cuisine like washoku, sushi, ramen, and yakiniku to Western and fusion cuisine, various genre restaurants line the streets.

Popular restaurants often have long queues or require reservations. Also, many restaurants have menus only in Japanese, which can present a language barrier.

However, if you overcome these challenges, a wonderful dining experience awaits you in Shinjuku. In this guide, I will introduce restaurants that I, as a local, have frequented for years, as well as places that have been well-received by my foreign friends.

From famous spots for tourists to hidden gems loved by locals, I'll convey the culinary appeal of Shinjuku.

Please use this article as a reference to find your favorite restaurant in Shinjuku!

Budget for Restaurants in Shinjuku

Shinjuku Resataurants.jpg

One of the charms of Shinjuku is that you can enjoy various meals according to your budget. From my student days until now as a working adult, I've enjoyed Shinjuku's food according to the contents of my wallet. Here, based on my experience, I'll introduce the characteristics of Shinjuku restaurants by budget.

Inexpensive Restaurants (Up to 2,000 yen / Up to $15)

Shinjuku Resataurants2.jpeg

In Shinjuku, there are many restaurants that offer surprisingly reasonable and delicious meals. In this price range, ramen shops, gyudon chain restaurants, and standing sushi bars are common.

The characteristic of these stores is that they don't compromise on quality even though they're cheap. However, the seating and atmosphere are often simple, so they're not suitable for those who want to enjoy a leisurely meal.

Still, they're popular among tourists as they can easily enjoy authentic Japanese flavors.

Standard Restaurants and Izakayas (2,000 to 5,000 yen / $15 to $35)

Shinjuku Resataurants3.jpeg

This price range has the widest selection of dining options in Shinjuku. Izakayas, mid-range restaurants, and all-you-can-eat yakiniku restaurants fall into this range.

These establishments offer good quality food and service at moderate prices, and I recommend them to tourists who want to experience Japanese food culture deeply. Izakayas, in particular, are excellent places to experience Japan's unique drinking culture.

High-end Restaurants (5,000 to 10,000 yen / $35 to $70)

Shinjuku Resataurants4.jpeg

Shinjuku also has many high-end restaurants suitable for special days or meals with important people. This price range includes high-end sushi restaurants, quality yakiniku restaurants, and refined Japanese restaurants.

These establishments maintain high standards in food quality, cooking techniques, service, and atmosphere. I highly recommend experiencing them at least once if you want to taste the essence of Japanese culinary culture.

Ultra-high-end Restaurants (10,000 yen and up / $70 and up)

Shinjuku Resataurants5.jpeg

In Shinjuku, there are also ultra-high-end restaurants suitable for very special occasions like significant anniversaries or business entertainment. I can only visit these occasionally, but each experience is unforgettable. This category includes top-class Japanese restaurants and Michelin-starred restaurants.

These establishments offer exceptional cuisine and top-notch service, but reservations are often required, so advance planning is necessary. Although the prices are high, they provide an unforgettable dining experience that matches the value.

Prices Differ Between Lunch and Dinner

Many restaurants in Shinjuku have significantly different prices for lunch and dinner. Generally, lunch is cheaper, and you can enjoy meals at less than half the dinner price at the same restaurant.

Notably, even at high-end restaurants, you can eat affordably during lunchtime. For example, at a high-end sushi restaurant where dinner might cost over 10,000 yen, you can enjoy authentic sushi for around 3,000 yen at lunch.

However, popular restaurants may have queues, so I recommend arriving early.

The charm of Shinjuku lies in its diversity. You can enjoy cuisines from around the world in one neighborhood, including Japanese, Western, Chinese, and ethnic foods.

Here, I'll introduce popular restaurants in Shinjuku by genre, based on my years of experience. All these restaurants are ones I can confidently recommend to tourists.

Izakaya

When talking about Japanese food culture, izakayas are essential. They're not just drinking places but venues where you can enjoy delicious food and drinks while having a good time. While there are numerous izakayas in Shinjuku, here I'll introduce three especially recommended ones.

Kan Agari (Izakaya)

"Kan Agari" is an izakaya I often visit with friends and colleagues for drinks. The name "Kan Agari" embodies the idea of bringing out the best in food and people with warmed sake.

The charm of this restaurant is undoubtedly its robata grill. They grill fresh seasonal ingredients right in front of you, bringing out the inherent umami of the ingredients.

What's particularly noteworthy is their commitment to sake. Sake selected by a sake sommelier is served in high-quality warm sake using custom-made copper pots and tin chirori. You can enjoy the changing flavors of sake at different temperatures, which has been well-received even by my foreign friends who are new to sake.

"Pontocho Shinjuku Main Store" is a unique izakaya where you can enjoy the atmosphere of Kyoto in Shinjuku. When I took my friend from Kyoto there, they were thrilled, saying "It feels just like being in Kyoto!"

The popular menu items at this restaurant are the "Ponto-yaki," a special homemade takoyaki, and the "Kyoto-style fluffy egg sandwich."

The "Ponto-yaki" has a perfect texture with a crispy outside and gooey inside, and once you try it, you're sure to get hooked. The "Kyoto-style fluffy egg sandwich" features fluffy tamagoyaki seasoned with Kyoto-style dashi, characterized by its light texture and deep flavor.

The charm of this restaurant lies in its commitment to Kyoto-produced ingredients. You can enjoy the taste of Kyoto along with local sake, giving you a Kyoto trip feeling while in Shinjuku. The atmosphere inside the restaurant also evokes Kyoto, with colorful Japanese umbrellas and low tables in tatami rooms recreating the casual atmosphere of Kyoto.

"Taruichi Shinjuku Main Store" is a long-established izakaya with over 50 years of history in Shinjuku's Kabukicho. I still remember the shock I felt when I first visited this restaurant as a college student, impressed by its unique atmosphere and unusual menu.

The main feature of this restaurant is its specialization in whale cuisine. They offer whale meat in various cooking styles, from sashimi to grilled dishes.

Whale meat is one of Japan's traditional ingredients but has become rare in modern times. Here, you can experience this precious taste.

In addition to whale dishes, they also offer Sanriku cuisine and local dishes from Miyagi prefecture. Being able to taste the rich food culture of the Tohoku region in Shinjuku is another attraction of this restaurant.

When I took my foreign friends there, they were also delighted by the unique atmosphere and rare dishes. I highly recommend this restaurant to those who want to experience the depth of Japanese food culture.

Meat Dishes

Shinjuku is a treasure trove of meat dishes. From high-end yakiniku restaurants using wagyu to reasonably priced motsuyaki shops, you can enjoy various meat dishes. Here, I'll introduce three especially recommended restaurants based on my experience of visiting them multiple times.

Motsuyaki Ucchan

Source:Tabelog

"Motsuyaki Ucchan" is a restaurant I've been frequenting since my student days. Motsuyaki refers to a dish where beef or pork offal is skewered and grilled, a standard menu item in Japanese izakayas. However, the motsuyaki at this restaurant is a cut above the rest.

Their signature dish is yakitori made with fresh offal, and the taste is exquisite. When I first tasted their liver, it changed my entire concept of motsuyaki.

Moreover, the charm of this restaurant lies in the perfect pairing of alcohol and motsuyaki. When eaten with cold draft beer or sake, the deliciousness doubles.

I highly recommend this restaurant to those who want to experience Japan's casual food culture.

Ibuki (Sukiyaki)

Source:Tabelog

"Ibuki" is a long-established Japanese restaurant where you can enjoy authentic sukiyaki in Shinjuku. It has been loved by many people for over 70 years. I often use it myself for special occasion meals or when entertaining important guests.

The biggest attraction of this restaurant is the sukiyaki made with carefully selected Japanese black wagyu sirloin. The Japanese-style cooking method of simmering thinly sliced wagyu in front of you is very popular with my foreign friends. The meat quality is excellent, with just the right amount of marbling, allowing you to enjoy a melt-in-your-mouth texture.

Not only sukiyaki but shabu-shabu is also one of their signature dishes. This also uses high-quality wagyu but is recommended for those who prefer a healthier cooking method. The way of eating, where you lightly dip the meat in hot broth, allows you to fully enjoy the inherent umami of the meat.

The interior has a calm Japanese atmosphere, allowing you to enjoy your meal in a relaxed space. It's conveniently located just a 3-minute walk from Shinjuku Station West Exit, making it convenient to drop by during sightseeing.

Rokkasen (Yakiniku)

img_001 (1).jpg
Source: Official website

"Rokkasen" is a famous restaurant where you can enjoy the highest quality yakiniku in Shinjuku. I personally use it for special anniversaries or meals with important people. The biggest attraction of this restaurant is its commitment to the highest quality meat.

Rokkasen offers only carefully selected cuts. Moreover, the charm of this restaurant is not limited to yakiniku. You can also enjoy shabu-shabu and sukiyaki hot pot.

Especially in winter, eating a hot sukiyaki pot is exceptional. The soup, which concentrates the umami of high-grade wagyu simmered with vegetables and tofu, is simply exquisite.

Furthermore, Rokkasen's appeal is not just in the food. They also have a rich selection of authentic alcoholic beverages, including sake and wine.

However, the price range is on the higher side, so I recommend using it for special occasions. Also, as it's a popular restaurant, reservations are essential. I recommend making reservations early, especially for weekends and holidays.

Ramen & Udon

Shinjuku is one of Tokyo's ramen battlegrounds. There are also many famous udon shops. Here, I'll introduce especially recommended ramen and udon shops based on my experience of visiting them multiple times.

Sugoi Niboshi Ramen Nagi (Ramen)

menu_img01.png
Source: Official website

"Sugoi Niboshi Ramen Nagi" is a famous shop that, as its name suggests, allows you to fully enjoy the umami of dried sardines. I still remember the shock I felt when I first visited this shop as a student.

The signature menu item is "Sugoi! Niboshi Ramen". It features an ultra-rich soup made by uniquely blending over 20 types of dried sardines. One sip spreads the deep umami of dried sardines throughout your mouth.

People trying it for the first time might be surprised by its richness. However, strangely, it doesn't get tiresome, and you'll find yourself drinking the soup to the last drop.

However, as it's a popular shop, there are often queues. It tends to get crowded especially during lunchtime and weekends, so I recommend going a bit early or aiming for off-peak hours. Also, it's open 24 hours, so you can enjoy it late at night or early in the morning.

Udon Shin

Source:Official Instagram

"Udon Shin" is a popular udon specialty shop in Shinjuku. I first visited this shop when I was guiding a foreign friend interested in Japanese udon culture, and I was surprised by its deliciousness myself.

The biggest charm of this shop is its thick noodles with a glossy sheen and firm texture. When you take a bite, the chewy texture and wheat aroma fill your mouth. The noodles are boiled to order, so they're always served in the best condition.

It's also very popular with foreign tourists, and there's often a long queue, especially during lunchtime. However, it's worth the wait. They've introduced a numbered ticket system where you can scan a QR code and receive a notification when your turn is approaching, so you can explore the surrounding area while waiting.

Ichiran (Ramen)

menu-menu_main01 (4).png
Source: Official website

"Ichiran" is a popular ramen chain with stores across Japan, but the Shinjuku branch is particularly popular among foreign tourists. I often take my friends from overseas here when guiding them.

The most distinctive feature of Ichiran is its unique store layout called "Taste Concentration Counter". Each seat is separated by partitions, allowing you to enjoy your ramen without worrying about other customers.

This is popular not only because it allows you to concentrate on eating ramen but also because it's comfortable to use even when coming alone.

The menu focuses solely on tonkotsu ramen, but their commitment is no joke. They use no chemical seasonings and only carefully selected tonkotsu soup. The soup is rich yet not heavy, with a taste that makes you want to eat it again and again.

I highly recommend this restaurant to those who want to authentically taste Japanese tonkotsu ramen and those seeking a unique dining experience.

Ramen Kamo to Negi

"Ramen Kamo to Negi" is one of the ramen shops I visit most frequently in the Shinjuku area. As the name suggests, it offers ramen mainly using duck and green onions, with a unique flavor that can't be tasted elsewhere.

The signature dish of this shop is duck ramen using duck broth. The duck broth, made only with duck, green onions, and water, is characterized by its rich yet delicate taste.

I still can't forget the shock I felt when I first tasted it. When you take a sip of the soup, the umami of the duck spreads throughout your mouth, followed by the sweetness of the green onions, creating a profound taste.

I wholeheartedly recommend this shop to those who want to experience the diversity of Japanese ramen culture and enjoy a unique ramen that can't be tasted elsewhere.

Sushi & Seafood

As the center of Tokyo, Shinjuku has many famous restaurants where you can enjoy sushi and seafood dishes using fresh seafood. Here, I'll introduce especially recommended sushi and seafood restaurants based on my experience of visiting them multiple times.

Sushizanmai Higashi-Shinjuku Store

151523808 (1).jpg
Source:Tabelog

"Sushizanmai" is a popular sushi chain that operates throughout Japan, but the Higashi-Shinjuku store is particularly lively, and I often visit it. The biggest charm of this store is that you can enjoy fresh seafood at relatively reasonable prices.

When you think of Sushizanmai, their strong commitment to bluefin tuna is famous. They're known for their high-priced bids at the first auction of the year at Toyosu Market, but when you actually eat it, you can understand its high quality.

Of course, the neta (toppings) other than tuna are also fresh and delicious. The nigiri using seasonal fish allows you to enjoy the taste of the season that can only be experienced at that time. My recommendation is the Pacific saury served in autumn. It's so fatty that it's delicious enough to eat without soy sauce.

One of the charms of Sushizanmai is that you can casually enjoy authentic sushi made by sushi chefs right in front of you at the counter. Watching the sushi chefs' skills up close is also part of the dining pleasure. Also, despite its high-class feel, it's offered at relatively affordable prices, which is another attraction.

I can recommend this restaurant to those who want to enjoy authentic Japanese sushi both authentically and reasonably.

Zauo Shinjuku Store

pho_shibuya06 (1) (1).jpg
Source:Official website

"Zauo" is not just a seafood restaurant. Here, you can have the unique experience of fishing for your own fish to eat. When I first visited this restaurant, I was surprised by its novel concept.

When you enter the store, the first thing that catches your eye is a large fish tank. You actually use a fishing rod to catch fish in this tank. Even if you're not good at fishing, the staff will support you, so don't worry.

The fish you catch can be cooked on the spot. You can choose your preferred cooking method, such as sashimi, grilled, or simmered. My recommendation is sashimi. The freshness of the just-caught fish is exceptional, and you can enjoy a melt-in-your-mouth texture.

I highly recommend this restaurant to those who want to enjoy Japanese seafood dishes while having a unique experience. I think it's particularly suitable for family visits or groups of friends.

Shinjuku Makoto

Source:Tabelog

"Shinjuku Makoto" is an authentic Edomae sushi restaurant located a 1-minute walk from Nishi-Shinjuku Station. I first visited this restaurant when a sushi connoisseur friend took me there, and I was shocked by the excellence of its taste.

The biggest charm of this restaurant is its authentic Edomae sushi using traditional techniques. The owner uses his own blend of vinegared rice and forms it in perfect balance with seasonal neta. Each piece is carefully prepared, and its taste is exceptional.

The interior has a hideaway-like atmosphere with only 8 counter seats. Being able to see the chef's skills up close across the counter is also one of this restaurant's charms. Just watching the hand movements of making sushi and knife skills is impressive.

Also, the selection of sake is excellent, and you can enjoy seasonal sake paired with sushi. The owner's recommended sake pairs perfectly with the day's sushi, and there's always a new discovery every time.

However, as it's a popular restaurant, reservations are essential. Also, the price range is on the higher side, so I recommend using it for special occasions. As it's by reservation only, please make sure to call in advance through your hotel or a friend when visiting.

Uoshin Shinjuku Store

"Uoshin Shinjuku Store" is an izakaya specializing in fresh fish, located just a 1-minute walk from Shinjuku Station. I first visited this restaurant when I dropped by with colleagues after work, and I was captivated by its fresh seafood and casual atmosphere.

The biggest charm of this restaurant is the abundance of dishes using fresh fish that they stock daily. When you open the menu, you'll see a lineup of seasonal seafood caught that day, so much that it's hard to choose. Among them, the sashimi platter is a must-try. Fresh, colorful sashimi is beautifully arranged, pleasing to both the eye and the palate.

I can recommend this restaurant to those who want to enjoy fresh seafood in the lively atmosphere of an izakaya.

Tempura

Tempura is one of Japan's representative dishes, and there are several excellent tempura restaurants in Shinjuku. Here, I'll introduce especially recommended tempura restaurants based on my experience of visiting them multiple times.

"Shinjuku Tsunahachi" is a long-established tempura specialty restaurant founded in 1924 (Taisho 13). I first visited this restaurant as a student, and I was shocked by the excellence of its taste. Since then, I often use it for special occasion meals or when entertaining important guests.

The biggest charm of this restaurant, which celebrated its 100th anniversary in 2024, is that it continues to challenge new things while preserving techniques and traditions cultivated over many years. While maintaining the tradition of Edomae tempura, they also incorporate modern ingredients and cooking methods, offering tempura that suits the times.

The atmosphere inside the restaurant is also attractive. At the counter seats, you can watch up close as the chefs fry tempura. Just watching the tempura being fried one after another with skilled techniques is exciting.

I highly recommend this restaurant to those who want to enjoy Japanese tempura at its best and those who want to experience the depth of Japanese food culture.

Kusunoki Main Store

Source:Tabelog

"Kusunoki" is a high-end tempura specialty restaurant by reservation only, located near Yotsuya Station. I first visited this restaurant on a special anniversary, and the experience fundamentally changed my concept of tempura.

The biggest charm of "Kusunoki" is its tempura that brings out the original taste of ingredients, based on the technique and philosophy of Chef Kusunoki. The tempura here is not just fried food. It's truly artistic, bringing out the original taste and aroma of the ingredients to the maximum while not letting you feel the taste of oil.

When I took my foreign friends there, they were also impressed by the excellence of the taste and the craftsmanship. They were particularly impressed by the strong sense of "seasonality" in Japanese food culture.

However, Kusunoki is a high-end restaurant by reservation only. As it's popular, I recommend making reservations early. Also, the price range is on the higher side, so it's good to use it for special occasions.

Especially Popular with Foreigners! Three Yokochos Where Foods from Various Regions Gather

In Shinjuku, there are several areas called "yokocho" where food cultures from various regions are concentrated. These places are particularly popular among foreign tourists as they can enjoy diverse Japanese cuisine at once. Here, I'll introduce three yokochos that I've visited many times and have been well-received by my foreign friends.

Ryu no Miyako Inshokugai

hero_pc01 (3).jpg
Source:Official website

"Ryu no Miyako Inshokugai" is a place that symbolizes the nighttime bustle of Shinjuku.

The biggest charm of this food street is that you can enjoy cuisine from all over Japan and various Asian countries at once. With more than 15 specialty stores gathered, you can enjoy a truly diverse menu including sushi, teppanyaki, Korean cuisine, and Hong Kong cuisine.

Also, the ground floor is open 24 hours, and the basement floor is open until late at night, which is another big attraction.

What's particularly noteworthy is the production using the latest sound, lighting, and video technology. You can enjoy meals in an atmosphere like a club, providing a non-everyday experience along with your meal. When I took my foreign friends there, they were really excited about this unique atmosphere.

I recommend this place for those who want to experience the nighttime bustle of Shinjuku and enjoy various cuisines at once.

Shinjuku Sanagi

Source:PR TIMES

"Shinjuku Sanagi" is a new type of multipurpose space that fuses food and culture. I first visited here right after it opened, and I was strongly attracted by its innovative concept and sophisticated space design.

The biggest attraction of Sanagi is its cafe & food hall with about 200 seats, where you can enjoy diverse Asian cuisine and drinks. You can enjoy various dishes like noodles, sushi, and oden all in one space.

Another characteristic feature of Sanagi is that it has set up a free platform called "Sanagi Incubation" for next-generation creators, DJs, and artists. Here, live performances and exhibitions by young artists are frequently held, allowing you to experience new culture while dining.

I recommend this place for those who want to experience new Japanese food culture and enjoy contemporary art and music along with their meal.

Shinjuku Kabuki Hall

Source:Official website

"Shinjuku Kabuki Hall" is an entertainment space themed on "festivals," where food, music, and video are fused together.

The biggest attraction of Kabuki Hall is that 10 shops offering "soul food" from various parts of Japan and overseas are gathered here.

The performances and events held every night are also a highlight. Furthermore, the scale boasting about 1,000 square meters of space and 1,300 seats is impressive. In this vast space, you can feel like you're walking through a small town.

Also, as it's open from 6 AM to 5 AM the next morning, you can enjoy Japanese food culture anytime from early morning to late at night.

I recommend this place for those who want to enjoy Japanese entertainment along with their meal.

Two Recommended Spots for Enjoying Fine Dining in Shinjuku

In Shinjuku, there are various dining establishments from casual eateries to high-end restaurants.

Here, I'll introduce two spots where you can enjoy fine dining suitable for special days or meals with important people. These are places where I've personally dined on special occasions and been impressed by their high quality.

Hilton Tokyo Japanese Restaurant "Junisoh"

junisoh_1-feature.jpg
Source: Official website

The Japanese restaurant "Junisoh" at the Hilton Tokyo is one of the places where you can enjoy the highest quality Japanese cuisine in Shinjuku. I first visited this restaurant when I had the opportunity to entertain important business partners from overseas, and all the attendees were impressed by its sophisticated space and exquisite cuisine.

The restaurant name "Junisoh" is said to express the seasonal feeling of the twelve months of the year, and indeed, the array of dishes that skillfully incorporate seasonality is impressive.

What was particularly impressive was the performance where the head chef adds delicate finishing touches to the dishes in front of the guests. For example, adding the final sprinkle of condiments to the soup dish or giving the final sear to the grilled dish - these moments where you can feel the seasonality right before your eyes are special.

The layout of the restaurant is also attractive. It accommodates various dining styles with table seats for kaiseki cuisine, sushi counter, teppanyaki counter, seven private rooms, and semi-private rooms.

I wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant to those who want to taste the essence of Japanese cuisine and experience the highest level of hospitality.

Hilton Tokyo "Metropolitan Grill"

"Metropolitan Grill" at the Hilton Tokyo is a place where you can enjoy the highest quality grill cuisine in Shinjuku.

The most distinctive feature of Metropolitan Grill is their cooking method using cherry wood and binchotan charcoal. By smoking and grilling ingredients with exquisite heat control using this method, they create dishes with a unique wood flavor. I still vividly remember the shock I felt when I first tasted it, impressed by its smokiness and deep flavor.

The atmosphere inside the restaurant is also noteworthy. At the glass-enclosed grill counter in the center, the chef showcases dynamic cooking performances. Just watching this performance unfolding before your eyes before the meal heightens your expectations.

I can recommend this restaurant to those who want to enjoy top-quality grill cuisine and those who want to discover new flavors.

Three Popular Restaurants in Shinjuku Offering Unique Experiences

In Shinjuku, there are many restaurants that not only provide delicious food but also offer unique experiences.

Here, I'll introduce three unique restaurants that I've personally experienced and have been very well-received by my foreign friends.

KUJIRA ENTERTAINMENT (Kabukicho)

KUJIRA ENTERTAINMENT is a unique space in Shinjuku's Kabukicho where dining and entertainment are fused. I first visited this place when I wanted to enjoy Japanese nightlife with friends from overseas, and the experience became unforgettable for all of us.

The biggest attraction of this place is the shows by famous performers. They also offer various plans to cater to different needs, such as the "Casual Plan" with free admission, "All-you-can-drink Plan," and "Shisha Plan."

The location is also attractive, being a 10-minute walk from JR Shinjuku Station. As it's open until late at night, it's perfect for dropping by after sightseeing or shopping in Shinjuku.

My foreign friends highly rated their experience at this place. It's understandable why it has received a 5 out of 5 rating on TripAdvisor. Many voices were heard saying, "I could experience Japanese nightlife," "The quality of the performances was high," and "The staff's response was polite."

I wholeheartedly recommend this place to those who want to enjoy Shinjuku's night to the fullest and create unforgettable memories.

NEO Shinjuku Atsushi

NEO Shinjuku Atsushi is a BAR in Shinjuku with a very unique concept. When I first visited this place, I was completely captivated by its novel worldview.

The setting of this place is "a world where humanity has perished except in NEO Shinjuku." It offers an other-dimensional experience different from reality, inspired by the world of fiction.

The menu is also very unique. They serve retort foods like cheeseburgers and mashed potatoes vacuum-packed, with a novel menu based on the concept of future survival food.

When I first ate it, I was surprised by the gap between its taste and appearance. While it looks futuristic, the taste was surprisingly nostalgic.

The drink menu is also very creative. The "secret infused sake" with seahorses and cordyceps sinensis became a topic of conversation among my friends for its impactful appearance and unique flavor.

When I took my foreign friends there, they were also very excited about its unique worldview and menu. Especially friends interested in Japanese pop culture enjoyed the experience as if they had entered the world of anime or manga.

I recommend this place for those who want to immerse themselves in a world like games or anime in Shinjuku.
