2. Takahama City Pottery Village Kawara Art Gallery exhibition “Can Maybe or Maybe Not See” 7/8~9/18
Source:インターネットミュージアム
The exhibition of Takahama City Pottery Village Kawara Art Gallery will be held with the theme of things you can “maybe or maybe not see”, or in the case of when there may be a reason, “maybe or maybe not think”. We people sometimes see a shape of something in the cloud, or try to see a rabbit on the moon. We blame a door closing on its own on an invisible person, and thank (or blame) good things and bad things on God. We perceive things how we want to perceive it, think how we want to think, and seek for a reason when there is no explanation. With that perspective, paintings, sculptures, and videos, as well as artists in various fields, sculptors, and children’s work will be presented. The perspective of perceiving things how we want to perceive it, think how we want to think, enables us to appreciate a work of art without knowing. This is the only place where you can experience a phenomenal feeling you’ve never felt before.
