There are many cute and sophisticated shops in Harajuku. Since long time ago, many youngsters come visit this town and enjoy communication. Many shops are for youngsters and it would be great town for those who susceptible to changes in fashion. RAINBOW PANCAKE

This shop is from Hawaii. Although Japanese people draw the rainbow with 7 colors, people in Hawaii do so in 6 colors. So this shop’s logo is with only 6 colors. They have pancakes that not only female but also male can enjoy. The reason is their well-balanced menu from sweet pancakes to meal-like pancakes. They also have limited pancakes of the seasons. For example, you can eat pumpkin pancake in autumn. Sometimes they even collaborate with the neighbor shops, and so you can get limited special pancakes then!

You would feel as if you were in Portland, US at the pancake shop. Their specialty is soufflé pancake. The soft pancake is decorated with fresh cream and chocolate cream. Their food is all homemade, including hamburger. Their drinks are also must-drink. The hand-dripped coffee and espresso-based drinks are so good. Also their cold pressed juice is really fresh!

Jinguen is known not only for its pancake but also for the art gallery. Their pancake is so soft and so light, and moist. You will tell that this pancake’s mouth feel just by looking the outward appearance. Although there are many pancake shops in Harajuku, this shop is one of the most famous shops. Their homemade gateau chocolat and NY baked cheesecake are also recommended. If you are hungry and want to eat some stuff, their special niapolitain and dry curry is recommended. Because this shop has gallery, you can see art pieces inside the shop.

The Original pancakehouse

You can have unique pancakes at The Original pancakehouse in Harajuku. This shops uses the dough fermented with natural yeast for 3 days under controlled temperature. A pancake “Dutch Baby” that is baked in the oven is so unique. You can put homemade maple syrup on the sweet pancakes. There are many fresh fruits on the pancake and so you would be so satisfied. Because this shop is located in the 8th floor of Q Plaza Harajuku, the view from the shop is really nice.

Eggs’n things

A pancake shope “Eggs’n things” was opened first in 1974 in Hawaii. The shop was so popular for local people and tourist in Hawaii. Now they have shops in Japan. They have the shops not only in Harajuku but also all over Japan. People make a line in front of the shop to get the tasty pancake. As a restaurant where you can get Hawaiian breakfast all the time, they serves not only pancake but also waffle, egg benedict and so on. The fresh cream tower besides the pancake is so appearing and almost all of customers take photo of the tower.
