“Rokumonsen “is a small restaurant with typical friendly atmosphere of old town.
They have many regular customers but also tourists. So by that it’s easy to enter for the person who has never eaten monjayaki. They tell how to eat monjayaki. Their opening hours are around noon till night. They don’t have break time. So you can visit when you are a little bit hungry or want to drink alcohol early in the evening. It used to be monjayaki was a snack eat at dagashi-ya( Japanese snack store). The opening hours of Rokumonsen is related to the history of monja. We recommend you to eat monja as a snack. You can taste traditional monja at Rokumonsen. They have more than 150 menus with basic dough. “Camembert Cheese monja” that is whole camembert cheese on top of the monja, “Pizza monja” which taste good with tomato and cheese. Let’s try the taste.
