Jump Festa
Source:Official website
Every year around December, Jump Festa is held in Tokyo. This event features content that will fully satisfy Shonen Jump fans, making it worth planning your trip to Japan around these dates. Shonen Jump is a weekly magazine that has produced many hit series such as "ONE PIECE" and "Dragon Ball."
At Jump Festa, you can enjoy original Manga artwork exhibitions, stage shows, and purchase limited-edition merchandise. What I'm particularly excited about at this Tokyo Anime event are the stage performances by Anime voice actors and theater performers. It's guaranteed to be an amazing experience with fans gathering from around the world.
Since the location and time of stages differ for each series, please check the show schedule for your favorite works. This is a must-visit event for any Otaku visiting Japan in 2025!

Comiket (Winter Comiket)

The highly popular Manga event Comic Market is also held in winter. "Fuyu Comi" is planned every December, so keep checking for information about the 107th event.
Comic Market, a representative event of Japanese pop culture, attracts many participants from both Japan and overseas. The masterpieces displayed by creators are mostly special works that can only be seen in Japan. You can also purchase works you like on the spot.
Also, pay attention to the meticulously crafted costumes of cosplayers specifically prepared for this event. Since Tokyo's summer can be extremely hot with temperatures exceeding 30°C, it might be wise to target this winter event for your trip to Japan.
