Start your day in Asakusa bright and early to avoid the crowds. Meet your friendly guide at the designated meeting point. After moving to a kimono rental store, you’ll select your favorite kimono for the day. Once dressed by a professional, you’ll begin your photo adventure at the iconic Kaminarimon Gate of Senso-ji Temple, capturing stunning memories right from the start!

Discover Asakusa's Hidden Treasures

As you stroll through Asakusa, you'll visit must-see spots like Nakamise Street, the five-story pagoda, and the main hall, snapping incredible photos along the way. Take special pictures at the stone bridge and a beautiful Japanese garden, where you’ll have exclusive access. With a local guide doubling as your photographer, you'll review your shots and improve with every click. Plus, feel free to indulge in some tasty street snacks as you go!

  • Choose your favorite kimono and enjoy professional dressing (includes hairstyling for women).
  • Begin the photo shoot at Senso-ji’s Kaminarimon Gate.
  • Capture Asakusa’s must-sees and hidden gems as you explore.
  • Take in the view of Asakusa from an observation deck.
  • Change out of your kimono, and the tour concludes.
Remarks
  • Kimono (Yukata during summer), hair-set, accessories upgrades are available! Enhance your look with premium kimono fabrics and accessories for a stunning photoshoot experience.
  • Out of respect for our other guests and to ensure the best tour for everyone, we must start the tour on time.
  • Please note that if you are late for more than 15 minutes than meeting time (10 mins before the tour starting time), you will not be able to join the tour, get refund or rescheduled.
  • You will not be able to join the tour, get a refund or reschedule if you are late for the tour and miss the group.
  • Anyone over 90cm (2.95ft) tall can join this tour.
  • The tour might be cancelled in case of unsuitable weather for safety reasons.
  • The itinerary for this tour includes some locations that are not accessible by a wheelchair or stroller.
  • This tour is not recommended for people with mobility issues, if you have walking problems we recommend booking a private tour.
  • Itinerary order is subject to change depending on traffic, weather and operation

How will the photos taken during the tour be shared?

The guide will edit the photos taken during the tour and share at least 20 images via Google Drive within three days of the tour date.

Will the tour take place on rainy days?

Yes! We offer complimentary Japanese-style umbrellas for rainy days. In fact, fewer crowds and the unique atmosphere can lead to some truly stunning photos, so seize the opportunity to capture moments that are only possible in the rain!

Is there an age limit for the tour?

There is no specific age limit; however, children under 100 cm may not be able to participate in the kimono dressing experience due to size restrictions. Since wearing a kimono can be a bit cumbersome, we recommend booking a private tour for those with small children to ensure everyone has a comfortable experience.

I'm not good at posing when photos are taken.

Do not worry. Our cameraman will ask you what kind of photos you would like and leads you how to be shoot based on it!
